How to Apply

To apply for 10,000 Small Businesses please Complete the online application form.

You will be asked to attach to the application form a number of supporting documents. All information provided in your application form and supporting documents are treated in the strictest confidence and data is transferred using a secure and encrypted connection.

The supporting documents you will be asked to submit with your application are:

1. A full set of final financial statements for your business for the most recent completed financial year for which these are available
2. The latest management accounts for your business for the current financial year, and for the previous financial year where not provided under (A)
3. Verification of your business as a legal entity
   (e.g. certificate of incorporation, extract from a company register etc.)
4. (Optional) A short business biography or your CV.

(Accepted file formats: .xls, .xlsx, .doc, .docx, .pdf, .jpg).

Selected applicants will be invited to an interview. The interview is used to find out further information from the applicant and to help finalise the selection process. If you are selected for interview, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure Scotland background check questionnaire. This is basically a CRB (criminal record bureau) check that provides confirmation of previous, present or pending convictions.
